Board Of Directors Meeting

Harvey Poynter called the meeting of the M.C.B.A. to order. The board discussed the upcoming city tournament. The board voted to hold the tournament at Maroon Lanes and Galaxy. The board also voted to hold the tournament the first 3 weekends of February with shifts at 12:00 & 3:00 PM. The team event will be held at Galaxy and the doubles and singles will be held at Maroon Lanes. The board also discussed the meeting times and decided to change the meetings to 5:30 PM on Mondays instead of meeting after the Monday night league. The board decided to hold the next monthly tournament in January instead of December because of the holidays and we would have more time to plan and advertise the tournament. Harvey asked the tournament committee to work on a tournament for January. Harvey said the women’s association still wants to meet with us, maybe we would have a pot luck on a Sunday afternoon. Harvey told the Hall Of Fame committee we would discuss the Hall Of Fame at our next meeting. The board set the next meeting at Galaxy on Monday December 11 @ 5:30 P.M.
